With the Specialized 1.2 motor, near-endless battery life, and configurable speed and assist limits, the less-traveled path is now kid-friendly—the only thing you need to worry about is whether you can keep up. Performance—Weighing in at just 16.6 kilograms and packed with power, it disappears beneath them, leaving only fun on the trails. And thanks to a reliable motor and long battery life, riders can keep up with (or even lead) their parents on the trails all day long. Amplification—The advanced Turbo OS is key to combining your own energy with the Levo SL Kids' power. It doubles the rider's effort so smoothly and seamlessly that it feels like they're doing it themselves, only faster. But Turbo OS doesn't just deliver power and range; it also tracks where and how you ride and can even help you get more out of your ride. It monitors motor and battery health to improve performance over time. The Turbo OS is at the heart of an even greater riding experience, allowing you and your Levo SL Kids to grow together. Kid-friendly design – every aspect of the bike has been engineered to perfectly fit young riders. The bike's progressive geometry, enhanced by Retül, offers a low standover height for increased confidence and ensures a long-term fit for growing children. The slacker head angle and extended reach provide greater stability, while short chainstays allow for maximum maneuverability and responsiveness. Equipped with a RockShox Reba 100mm AIR fork, a SRAM NX 11-speed drivetrain, adjustable SRAM Level T hydraulic brakes, and a short-travel seatpost to enhance their downhill skills, the Levo SL Kids is built to be ridden hard, go big, and last. Specialized App/MasterMind – The same sophisticated and highly adjustable system used on our standard bikes allows for highly customizable control of the Levo SL Kids. Two maximum speed settings for motor assistance are available: parents can choose between 16 km/h (recommended for younger children and/or those new to e-bikes) and 25 km/h (for older and more experienced riders). The speed settings can be adjusted by an authorized Specialized dealer. Range anywhere – The same 320Wh battery and motor that powers the adult Levo SL also powers the new Levo SL Kids. The full Levo SL, controlled by an adult, gives you a range of up to 5 hours. With a much smaller rider on the Levo SL Kids, the range increases significantly. Trust us, the only juice you should be worried about is the juice you can squeeze from a fruit. Laws and regulations regarding the use of electric bicycles vary considerably by geographic area, even within a specific country or state. Before purchasing, in addition to ensuring your child can handle the added acceleration and weight of an electric bike, research all applicable requirements and restrictions, including age limits. A low starting level of assistance/power is helpful for getting a feel for what an e-bike is capable of, and increasing power and support as the child's comfort and confidence grow. A narrow 130mm bridge saddle, 660mm handlebars, and shorter cranks (155mm) ensure comfort, pedaling efficiency, and confidence. SRAM Level T hydraulic brakes with adjustable levers, an 80mm seatpost for easier ground reach and increased confidence on descents, and 24" x 2.35" Ground Control tires for a smooth ride and plenty of grip. The 603mm standover height allows for confident handling, while the progressive 66° head tube angle and 75° seat tube angle give riders a taste of trail riding capabilities, promoting progress and enjoyment.
