Our Epic EVO will definitely never turn down a race number, but it's just as keen to trade any finish line for a breathtaking ridgeline. With its incredible combination of pedaling efficiency and impressive trail taming ability, it will take you to the place you desire with ease. Although the Epic EVO features a seemingly modest increase in travel of 20mm at the front and 10mm at the rear compared to its Epic stablemate, we've spared no effort to ensure that these are implemented in a way that will absolutely amaze you on your first stretch of singletrack . The new kinematics of the EVO chassis were developed with great care so that none of the Epic's outstanding efficiency is lost. The perfect interaction with the damper in the tailor-made Rx XC-Tune ensures that you can make optimal use of every centimeter of travel and the increased anti-squat characteristic is retained for improved pedaling efficiency. With plenty of practice at riding near the front, the Epic EVO claims to be the most capable execution of our progressive XC geometry to ever grace an Epic. Thanks to the new rear triangle equipped with a flip chip, the Epic EVO is also more versatile than ever. This allows you to change the head angle and bottom bracket height and thus easily adjust the driving characteristics. The FACT 11m carbon frame of the Epic EVO Base is a flyweight frame and is equipped with heavyweight SRAM components and suspension elements from RockShox. This tailored package will get you through the miles faster than ever before. Flip It To Rip It! Use the flip chip to adjust the driving behavior of the FACT 11m carbon frame to your preferred driving characteristics. The Epic EVO allows you to reduce the head angle by half a degree while lowering the bottom bracket by 10mm. With stoic calm, RockShox's Reba RL suspension fork dives through its travel thanks to the Motion Control damper unit, while the easy handling of the SoloAir air spring makes adjusting the suspension a breeze. The NX Eagle drive from SRAM is the benchmark when it comes to the price-performance ratio of high-performance drives. It delivers crisp gear changes and an enormous gear ratio range of 450%.
