Orbea Rise M-LTD - The lightest e-fully in its class The Orbea Rise e-fullys are something very special thanks to their clever energy-saving concept. Especially if you treat yourself to the limited edition of the series with the Rise M-LTD. Rational thinking is secondary with this high-end e-bike : super-light carbon frame, 29-inch Fox chassis with 140 millimeters of travel and Shimano XTR components. You can't get more than that. The exclusive element of the drive is hidden behind the abbreviation RS, which stands for Rider Synergy. Loosely translated, this results in better interaction between the rider and the motor. This is exactly what the software specially developed by Orbea ensures. For programming, it was analyzed at which cadence a rider applies his or her power to the pedals most efficiently. The result: a significantly lower energy requirement. And this meant that the system weight could be drastically reduced. Despite the smaller battery and the deliberately throttled motor, there is enough support available when needed. This is exactly what many sporty e-mountain bikers have been looking for. The Orbea Rise M-LTD is an incredibly agile and dynamic e-fully that feels at home on any terrain. From all mountain to enduro and trail riding. Shimano EP8 motor with Orbea RS tuning The heart of the drive is the Shimano EP8 motor, one of the best e-bike motors on the market. Orbea has developed the RS firmware in collaboration with Shimano, which significantly improves energy management. This means less power is needed. The 360 watt hours of the integrated battery correspond roughly to the capacity of a conventional 512 Wh battery. If you still need more energy reserves, you can increase the power to 612 watt hours with an extender. In favor of a classic, clean look, Orbea has dispensed with a bulky handlebar display. The support levels are simply selected using a small rocker switch near the brake lever.
