- MX (Mixed Wheels) – the best of both worlds: Mixed wheels (also known as "mullet") combine a 29-inch front wheel with a 27.5-inch rear wheel. The leading 29-inch wheel creates a large contact patch, generating plenty of traction and improving rollover performance. Meanwhile, the smaller diameter rear wheel offers more clearance (significant for riders with shorter limbs) and allows for more agile handling. The result is a bike that still feels like a 29er but is lighter and more efficient on the trail.

Size recommendation
- Choosing the right frame size: If you're between two frame sizes, we recommend testing both options. As a guide, you can compare the reach and stack measurements with your current bike or other bikes you're familiar with and feel comfortable on.
- Personal preferences: A larger frame offers more stability and control. You also gain more freedom of movement on the bike, though with less impact on balance. A larger frame also has a slightly longer wheelbase, which provides additional safety and stability. Therefore, it requires more body input and a more active riding style to control the bike. Smaller bikes are more agile and respond more quickly to rider input. Consider what suits your riding style best. Do you want a bike that's agile and active? Or more stable and composed? Do you want to put in more or less effort to move the bike around the trail?
- Body proportions: Even people of the same height look different. If you have a relatively short torso and long legs, we would recommend the smaller frame size. If you have a long torso and long arms, you should opt for the larger frame.
