The JAM² SL 8.8 is the perfect light e-MTB for anyone looking for the best price-performance ratio. The full carbon frame optimizes weight without compromising stiffness and usability. The top tube is optimized in the most radical and minimalist way. Thanks to the partial integration of the damper, the JAM² SL 8.8 has a low standover height, which offers you plenty of room to move. Despite the integration, all adjustment elements of the damper are easy to access. Since the motor and battery of our JAM² SL 8.8 are completely integrated into the down tube, this e-MTB not only rides like a pure bike, but also looks like one. The FAZUA Ride 60 drive system offers you a natural driving experience and still gives you full support. The compact and light, yet powerful drive unit has 60 Nm of torque and a maximum power of 450 W. Thanks to the boost function, you can tackle even the steepest climbs. Thanks to the high efficiency of the FAZUA system and a 430 Wh battery, your ride won't stop until you've reached your very own rider's high. If you still need more energy, a range extender offers another 210 Wh. The drive system already has three different driving modes. You can also adjust the motor support to suit your driving preferences using the FAZUA app. This means you can adjust the maximum power (Max Power), the support ratio (Support Relation) as well as the responsiveness and acceleration (Ramp-up) according to your personal needs. The geometry of the JAM² SL 8.8 can be adjusted via two points: steering angle and chainstay length. The steeper head angle of 65.5° results in more agile handling of the bike, while the flatter position of 64.5° ensures a more downhill-oriented setting. Adjusting the chainstays from 440 to 447 mm via the FLIP CHIPs changes the entire set-up of your bike. If you set the FLIP CHIPs to a long position, the JAM² SL 8.8 is more stable and makes steep climbs easier, while the short setting results in a more agile geometry. For the JAM² SL 8.8 we have adapted our FOLD (FOCUS Optimized Linkage Design) and reduced the number of joint parts, thereby significantly saving weight. The new kinematics further reduces the influence of braking and gives you maximum control over your bike in every situation.
