The brand-new Cubie 160 is the perfect bike for getting started in the wonderful world of cycling – a child-sized mountain bike with all the bells and whistles. For example, it features an aluminum fork for light weight and easy-to-use rim brakes on the front and rear wheels. It also has a Hebie chainlooper to prevent kids from getting caught in the derailleur and hurting themselves. And we've fitted Billy Bonkers tires. Why? Because they offer superb grip – and because we simply love the name. All of this comes in proven CUBE quality, which is continuously tested in-house. Now all that's missing is a good dose of adventure and enthusiasm, and then you're ready to go!
Frame
The Cubie 160 frame offers a successful combination of riding fun and responsive handling, paired with high stability, precise steering, and tracking. We've rounded off the edges and corners of this lightweight 6061 aluminum frame for safety reasons, minimizing the risk of injury. However, this doesn't compromise its robustness – the chassis easily handles even the most aggressive maneuvers. New for the 2022 season is the lightweight aluminum fork. And, of course, the model is available in several color options, so every young rider can find the Cubie that suits their preferences.
