It's simply the fastest, most capable - and maybe the most fun - bike we've ever built. It delivers a fast and lively ride under pressure, but remains stable and gives you confidence when the terrain gets challenging. From the Future Shock 1.5 and all-new Gravel Geometry to market-leading tire clearance, the new Diverge represents everything we've learned from more than 40 years of experience on the road, gravel and off-road. The Diverge writes a whole new chapter in the gravel bike category, allowing you to invent entirely new rides. It's the ultimate vehicle for getting out there.
Gravel riding may be a "new" sport, but our Diverge Sport Carbon was developed with over four decades of experience. It features our Future Shock 1.5 and a FACT 8r carbon frame for a fast, confident and comfortable ride on road, off-road and thick gravel. With the Unbound-winning Pathfinder Pro 42mm tires, also fitted to the S-Works Diverge, you're ready to ride as fast and as far as you want.
- With a FACT 8r carbon frame, the Diverge sport frame is incredibly capable while maintaining the lightness of a road bike. Sprint for your local dirt climb KOM or scale a huge backcountry peak, the light and lively Diverge will get you there faster.
- Speed, control and confidence - Future Shock 1.5 is the ideal technology for gravel riders. With 20mm of axial compliance, Future Shock 1.5 is progressively tuned specifically for gravel riding. This ensures you stay in control, maintain power and can ride over rough gravel roads as well as thick loose gravel, all while keeping your hands, arms and neck fresh.
- We've thrown out the "status quo" geometry for gravel bikes. The new Diverge has the most progressive geometry we've ever developed for a drop bar bike, giving riders a capable and stable bike off-road that still remains agile and responsive on the road. We've increased the reach of the frame, introduced a slacker head tube angle and a longer offset fork. All of this provides incredible confidence and a locked-in feel off-road, while shorter stems keep the overall cockpit length the same and steering response lively. We've kept the bike's bottom bracket low for increased stability, but high enough to accommodate 650b wheels if that's your thing.
- We gave the Diverge plenty of rack mounting points, including fork and top tube mounts, so you can carry what you need no matter how far you ride or how long you're out. Note: All carbon models require an aftermarket rack mount seatpost clamp to install a rear rack.
- Nothing unlocks a bike's potential like tire clearance, so we gave the new Diverge an impressive 47mm of tire clearance with a 700c wheel and 2.1" with a 650b wheel. Thanks to a drive-side chainstay design that uses a solid carbon beam behind the chainrings, we created the tire clearance without using a fragile chainstay design or extending the chainstay.
