ZIPP Handlebar Service Course SL 70 XPLR 2021
True to their name, the Zipp XPLR (pronounced Explore) handlebars are ideal for discovering new paths. Developed according to the American company's Fit-First philosophy, the XPLR handlebars feature a special shape designed to offer comfort and control on long cycling adventures.
Made from high-quality 7075 aluminum, they are synonymous with durability yet low weight. The handlebars have a moderate flare angle of 5°, ideal for gravel bikes. This allows for a comfortable hand position in the most common riding position in hoods.
For challenging terrain or when you really want to push your limits, the XPLR bars offer an excellent way to find balance on the bike thanks to their very wide drop position, providing exceptional control. This wide width is achieved through an 11° outsweep at the bar ends, which positions them approximately 6 cm further out than the hoods.
The shape of the drops has also been optimized for off-road use. A moderate reach of 70 mm ensures a compact riding position, and the drop of only 115 mm allows you to sit upright enough in the drops to maintain a centered position on the bike while riding on the trail.
The XPLR handlebars with 3° backsweep also ensure a relaxed and ergonomically favorable hand position on the top link. For a clean look when using a Shimano Di2 drivetrain, the XPLR handlebars are compatible with the EW-RS910 junction box installed in the handlebar end.
