The SQlab 602 Ergolux® Active 2.0 is the proven trekking and touring saddle for medium to long distances. Compared to the very firm and slim ERGOWAVE® models, the 602 Ergolux® Active 2.0 offers more padding volume, allowing the foam to be slightly softer. The contact area is significantly larger than before thanks to the double wave design, resulting in less sinkage of the sit bones. The disadvantages that can typically occur with softer foams due to the sit bones sinking in are therefore eliminated with the Ergolux®.

The first stage supports the rear of the sit bones, providing perfect support and thus improving power transfer to the pedals. The second stage optimally supports the already relieved ischial tuberosities, ensuring the best possible pressure distribution. The perineum and the front of the pubic bones and pubic arch receive more freedom of movement thanks to the even lower saddle nose. The proven SQlab Active System allows the saddle to follow the pedaling motion, increasing comfort, protecting the intervertebral discs, and further reducing pressure on the sit bones.

• Moderate: Saddle and handlebars at approximately the same height correspond to a moderate riding position. Both mountain bikers and sporty trekking cyclists usually adopt this position.

Slightly bent: The average trekking and city cyclist usually sits slightly bent over on their bike. But enduro riders also often sit in this rather upright position.

• Lower saddle nose: A lower saddle nose puts less pressure on sensitive areas. This applies to both men and women.
• Deep and flat: The flat, only very slightly curved shape of the saddle nose results in a maximum contact area with correspondingly low pressure. This also makes the nose narrow and reduces lateral friction to a minimum.
