SQ-lab Pedals 5OX
Why plastic - why not? The high-quality 5OX plastic pedal is in no way worse in terms of weight and durability than the same version made of aluminum. When it comes into hard contact with stones and rocks, for example, the material can give way and in our tests it usually withstood more than the aluminum version. For this reason, we use fiber-reinforced plastic and do not use an aluminum version. The bearings are important to us here - we have installed the best and most durable bearings.
Three different axle lengths ensure a physiologically natural foot position on the pedal. Suitable for larger feet, a V-shaped foot position or larger sit bone distances, which usually require a higher Q factor.
The slightly concave and outwardly rotated pedal surface enables an ergonomic stand on the pedal and at the same time creates enormous grip. In order to create a maximum tread surface, it sits flush with the pedal axle. This means that there is no annoying elevation of the pedal surface on the inside of the foot, as is the case with many other flat pedals.
