Alpina Apax Mips
The APAX MIPS MTB helmet from ALPINA is a real all-rounder in the off-road sector and is one of the lightest helmets in its category. The HI-EPS in combination with MIPS and RUN SYSTEM ERGO FLEX ensures a high level of comfort and safety. In the event of a fall with an oblique impact, MIPS helps to reduce the rotational forces acting on the head.
The low weight of the MTB helmet is due to the INMOLD production, in which the upper shell is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS. This creates a solid surface connection, which is responsible for a very stable construction. The lower edge of the helmet is protected by another polycarbonate shell, which fits seamlessly to the upper shell. For optimal safety on rough trails, the rear and the temple area are pulled further down. This creates even greater head coverage.
The helmet's smooth adjustment system features a delicate design and secures it evenly all around the head. Last but not least, large ventilation openings allow for ideal ventilation, fly screens keep insects away from the head and the height-adjustable visor provides additional protection in the field of vision.
