UPGRADES & MATCHING ACCESSORIES
Schwalbe Albert TRAIL PRO Soft Radial tires
The Schwalbe Albert guarantees safety and control in all situations. It boasts perfect all-round characteristics for virtually any terrain and condition. The meticulously refined intermediate tread pattern is combined with the best rubber compounds, pushing the limits of performance to unprecedented levels. The shoulder lugs, adopted from the Tacky Chan, provide extended braking edges and excellent lateral force transmission. Thanks to the new radial casing, the tire significantly improves bump absorption and practically clings to the surface, as it can deform at specific points.
The casing threads, which run diagonally across the tire at a 45° angle on standard bicycle tires, are arranged at a significantly shallower angle on the Albert Trail Pro. This technology, developed in the Downhill World Cup, is revolutionizing the MTB world. Primarily, this arrangement ensures that the casing material overlaps for a shorter time and with less tension. As a result, the tire deforms more precisely at specific points and can react much more flexibly and adaptably to uneven terrain without compromising safety. At the same air pressure, radial tires offer 30 percent more contact patch than conventional tires. The result is more grip, more damping, and more comfort.
Schwalbe PRO
Schwalbe's PRO tires stand for exceptional performance and were explicitly designed for competition. Extremely fast and very light, with good mileage, these tires are the first choice for all ambitious athletes.
Addix Soft rubber compound
The compound offers a balanced combination of speed and damping, making it perfect for hardcore use in enduro, gravity, and downhill riding. Thanks to an improved blend, it also performs optimally in cold conditions.
TLR - Tubeless Ready
A new monofilament sidewall fabric offers three advantages over the previous standard: even better cut resistance, increased puncture resistance, and, most importantly, it enables extremely easy tubeless conversion. Sealant is required, but the installation itself is straightforward. With Schwalbe TLR tires, lengthy conversion processes involving intensive shaking and frequent reinflation are a thing of the past.
Note: Tires with a soft rubber compound offer more grip and a smoother roll. However, soft tires wear down faster and are more susceptible to wear.
