UPGRADES & MATCHING ACCESSORIES
Schwalbe Marathon Efficiency 55-622 foldable
The newest member of the Schwalbe Marathon series sets new standards in the touring tire segment. The new sporty tread profile, combined with the Addix Race rubber compound, offers the lowest possible rolling resistance, which naturally has a positive effect on battery range. At the same time, this tire rolls safely on all surfaces and features the proven V-Guard puncture protection. The reflective strip on the sidewall of the Marathon Efficiency is particularly practical, providing an extra boost to safety in road traffic.
ADDIX RACE COMPOUND
A completely new formulation. ADDIX Race is a multi-compound made from the latest, high-quality polymers of verified quality. Since the silica content has been significantly increased, the mixing process had to be refined. Different special compounds are used in the center and on the sides. This increases grip in corners without negatively impacting rolling resistance or longevity.
EvolutionLine
Evolution tires are the top models in the Schwalbe range. Extremely fast and very lightweight with good durability, these tires are the first choice for all ambitious athletes! Schwalbe uses only the best available materials for its top products to meet every requirement placed on a tire!
V-GUARD Puncture Protection Insert
The insert is made from a specially developed high-tech polymer fiber, which is also used for bullet and stab-resistant vests. It provides excellent protection against cuts and punctures while being extremely lightweight. Neither the rolling resistance nor the suppleness of the tire is affected by V-Guard. The 14 mm wide insert protects the entire tread and thus ensures extremely high puncture resistance. The 3-layer sidewall also provides reliable protection against cuts.
