Der GatorHardshell Drahtreifen ist der richtige Reifen für den urbanen Großstadtdschungel. Er gibt jedem Alltagsrenner das gewisse Etwas und bringt Pendler zuverlässig zum Arbeitsplatz.
Der unverwüstlicher Hardshell Pannenschutz ist vergleichsweise breiter und dicker als der PolyX Breaker und schützt sowohl den Laufstreifen als auch die Seitenwand. Zusätzlich macht DuraSkin die Seitenwand unempfindlich gegen Bordsteinkanten sowie andere Großstadtgefahren und eine Karkasse bestehend aus drei von Wulst zu Wulst übereinander gelegten Lagen unverwüstlich. Die eingesetzte Laufstreifenmischung ermöglicht eine ausgesprochen lange Lebensdauer.
Reifen mit DuraSkin-Seitenwandschutz müssen ordentlich einstecken können. Sie kommen unter den widrigsten Bedingungen zum Einsatz. Auf Messenger- Bikes rutschen die Reifen an Bordsteinen entlang, auf Reiserädern durchqueren sie Kontinente ohne durchzuscheuern, im Rennsport müssen sie Härteprüfungen wie Paris-Roubaix bestehen.
