Terms and conditions of participation – Instagram giveaway “TREK Rail+ 8”

Participation in the prize draw organized by Liquid-Life GmbH, hereinafter referred to as the operator or organizer , is governed exclusively by these terms and conditions.

Competition procedure
The competition runs from June 2nd, 2025, 8:00 PM to June 29th, 2025, 11:59 PM. During this period, users can participate online.

Participation is exclusively via Instagram. To enter the giveaway, the following steps must be completed in full:
1. Follow liquid_life.de on Instagram
2. Like and comment on this post explaining why you want to win the bike and tag a person .
Participation in the competition is free.

Eligible participants
Natural persons residing in Germany and aged 18 or older are eligible to participate. Participation is not limited to customers of the organizer and is not contingent upon the purchase of any goods or services.

If a participant's legal capacity is limited, the consent of their legal representative is required.
The following are not eligible to participate in the competition: all persons involved in the conception and implementation of the competition, employees of the operator, and their family members. Furthermore, the operator reserves the right to exclude individuals from participation at its own discretion if there are legitimate reasons, for example...
(a) in the event of manipulation in connection with access to or the conduct of the prize draw, (b) in the event of breaches of these terms and conditions of participation, (c) in the event of unfair conduct or (d) in the event of false or misleading information in connection with participation in the prize draw.

Prize, notification and transmission

The winners will be determined after the closing date for entries by means of a random draw from among all participants. If the competition involves a task, only those participants who have correctly completed the task will be entered into the draw.
The winners of the raffle will be informed of their prize via a separate email as soon as possible.
The prize will be awarded exclusively to the winner or, in the case of a minor, to their legal guardian. Exchanges, in-person collection, and cash payments of the prize are not possible.
The operator will cover any costs that may arise for shipping the prizes. Any additional costs associated with claiming the prize are the responsibility of the winner. The winner is also responsible for any applicable taxes on the prize.
If the winner does not respond within a period of 3 weeks after being contacted twice, the prize may be transferred to another participant.

Data protection
Participation in the competition requires the provision of personal data. The participant confirms that the personal information provided, in particular first name, last name and email address, is truthful and correct.
The organizer points out that all personal data of the participant will neither be passed on to third parties nor made available to them for use without consent.
An exception is the company Happy Contests GmbH, which is commissioned to carry out the prize draw and must collect, store and use the data for the purpose of carrying out the prize draw.
In the event of winning, the winner agrees to the publication of their name and place of residence in the advertising media used by the organizer. This includes the announcement of the winner on the organizer's website and social media platforms.
The participant may revoke their consent at any time. The revocation must be submitted in writing to the organizer's contact details provided in the legal notice section of the competition app. Upon revocation of consent, the participant's collected and stored personal data will be deleted immediately.

Applicable law
Questions or complaints regarding the competition should be directed to the operator. Contact information can be found in the legal notice section of the competition app.
The operator's competition is subject exclusively to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded.

Severability clause
Should any provision of these terms and conditions be or become wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a legally permissible provision that most closely approximates the economic intent and purpose of the invalid provision. The same applies in the event of a gap in these terms and conditions.
