UPGRADES & MATCHING ACCESSORIES
Shimano 105 CS-R7101 12-speed Cassette
The wait is over. Shimano's road bike groupset for the ambitious amateur cyclist finally arrives with modern Di2 technology and a 12-speed drivetrain. And all that at an incredibly favorable price-performance ratio. Nevertheless, no compromises were made in terms of durability and functionality, and you can see the Japanese manufacturer's many years of experience in every detail.
With their smooth shifting up and down across the entire gear range, Shimano Hyperglide cassettes have set new standards for off-road use. For the 105 groupset, the Japanese have now adopted this technology for road bike use as well. You can now shift without hesitation, even under maximum power during climbs or when sprinting to the finish line. This is made possible in part by longer teeth. Despite the new design and the additional 12th sprocket, the CS-R7101 cassettes are also compatible with existing 11-speed Shimano road freehub bodies.
