UPGRADES & MATCHING ACCESSORIES
The Shimano Deore CS-M4100 is a wide-range 10-speed cassette for mountain bikes with a 1x drivetrain. It gives your bike plenty of gearing range without upgrading to 11 or 12 speeds.
At a glance
- Group: Shimano Deore (M4100)
- Speeds: 10-speed
- Smallest sprocket: 11 teeth, range depends on variant
- Compatible chain: Shimano HG-X 10-speed
- Freehub: Shimano HG (spline M, as on 8- to 10-speed)
- Sprockets: 10 plated steel sprockets
Your benefits
- Easier climbing gears: the large sprocket helps you spin up steep climbs.
- Tough steel sprockets built to last on daily rides and trails.
- Fits common Shimano HG freehubs, so no new freehub body is needed.
- Even steps between gears for smooth shifting with a matching Deore setup.
Pair the cassette with an HG-X 10-speed chain. Replacing chain and cassette together lets the parts wear in evenly and keeps your shifting precise.
