- No pain, no numbness - hand discomfort while cycling is widespread, especially on longer rides. Conventional, rounded, or seemingly ergonomic grips often cause numbness in the fingers, as well as pain and irritation in the palms of the hands and wrists. Discomfort in the forearms and upper arms, as well as in the neck and shoulders, can also often be attributed to unsuitable grips. Chronic misalignment can lead to pain such as carpal tunnel syndrome. With the iconic GP1, Ergon has enabled millions of cyclists to enjoy pain-free cycling for more than 20 years.
- Distributes pressure, protects nerves - While cycling, a significant portion of your body weight rests on your hands holding the handlebars. This results in intense pressure on a small area of the grip.
