The S5 has only one job—to get to the finish line before everyone else. With 480 points, Wout was 194 points ahead of his nearest competitor—tangible proof that Cervélo continues to deliver aerodynamic improvements to our World Tour athletes. This score is the highest in Tour de France history.

The new S5 has reduced drag by 65 grams while increasing the surface area of the frame and reducing overall weight. The deeper frame cutouts maximize the shapes allowed by the new UCI regulations. At the same time, the iconic V-stem has been further refined and a new fork has been developed to simplify the entire cockpit.

In addition, a groundbreaking new impeller concept was developed in collaboration with Reserve to increase stability and reduce drag in turbulent conditions.
