UPGRADES & MATCHING ACCESSORIES
SQ-lab Saddle 6 1/2 Ergowave OX
Bicycle saddles for children: it's no easy task, as it is easier to get it wrong than right. After 20 years of experience in saddle manufacturing and ergonomics, we are finally venturing into children's saddles and launching a Kids Line in 2023.
As you have come to expect from SQlab, our children's saddles are available in different widths: 9 cm and 11 cm. Through extensive research and development, we have determined that the child's age roughly corresponds to the sit bone distance in an upright position:
- Children up to 9 years old: 9 cm
- Children 9 years and older: 11 cm
With our children's saddles, we offer even the "little ones" all the ergonomic advantages that we have been practicing at SQlab for years.
The children's saddle comes in three cool designs:
- OX design: Perfect for matching with the 6OX ERGOWAVE® saddle.
- Flames design: Ideal for budding firefighters.
- Racing design: For young racers who love speed.
The Kids-Line is also completed by a matching handlebar (3 ½) and new grips (7 ½), which are specially tailored to a smaller upper body and smaller hands. This makes the riding experience for children even more comfortable and safer.
In collaboration with SDG, we have developed our own Kids-Line. We worked intensively on the ergonomics of the products and incorporated our extensive know-how. An important aspect of our cooperation is the compatibility of our products, so that even the youngest riders have a diverse selection available.
