BODY GEOMETRY TECHNOLOGY: Unfortunately, the human body was designed for walking, not cycling. Riders often pay for this evolutionary error with foot, knee, and hip misalignments, as well as discomfort. We solve these problems with Body Geometry technology. The Toch 2.0 features our varus wedge, longitudinal arch support, and metatarsal pad. Thanks to optimal alignment of your legs and feet and unhindered circulation, you can increase your performance pain-free. This has been proven by two decades of Retül testing.
COMFORT: The Torch 2.0 features a BOA® Li2 dial closure with Dyneema® Softlace. These cords are made of a special fiber that prevents unwanted tension and increases comfort. The synthetic upper is constructed from a single piece and is fully laser-perforated for ventilation. This manufacturing technique eliminates seams that can potentially rub against the instep.
OFF THE BIKE: Large rubber surfaces on the front of the sole and heel provide plenty of grip when transitioning from the bike to the café. They make life easier in so many ways: getting on and off, stopping at traffic lights, and clipping in. For more confidence on the pavement.
- Soles and insoles with Body Geometry technology are ergonomically designed and scientifically proven – for more performance, greater efficiency and a lower risk of injury due to the optimal alignment of hips, knees and feet.
- Woven carbon soles are extremely stiff and lightweight, and large rubber surfaces at the front and back provide sufficient grip when walking.
