Designed for adventurous gravel roads and muddy trails, the Recon 2.0 gravel and mountain bike shoe offers riders a robust, efficient, yet comfortable package for long days with the crew and short stops at the edge of the forest. It's a favorite with the Diverge, Creo, or Epic—and won't let go until the riders themselves are exhausted after a long day on the trail.
BODY GEOMETRY: Like all our shoes, the Recon 2.0 is ergonomically designed and scientifically proven. This increases comfort and performance for every rider and reduces the risk of injury with patented technology. All of this demonstrably increases performance by an average of 7 watts.
STRIDE TECHNOLOGY: The secrets of Stride technology are a flexible outsole and upper material around the toe box, combined with a rigid cleat mount. This combination allows the shoe to flex slightly while walking, while remaining stiff and efficient while pedaling.
Efficiency: Thanks to its BOA® Li2 dial, the Recon 2.0 can be loosened, adjusted, or locked in a snap. The BOA® Dyneema® cord also contributes to the easy on and off process – eliminating the need for rigid cord guides. Finally, the hook-and-loop closure on the forefoot allows for individual adjustment of the toe area to the shape of your foot – for predictable control on unfamiliar features or in loose and technical terrain.
