Shimano Deore XT Di2 RD-M8260 12-speed rear derailleur long
Ever since the Deore XT group revolutionized the mountain bike world in 1980, it has been synonymous with reliability, durability, and functionality. Over time, it has been continuously optimized and improved, and it continues to be considered a pioneer in the cycling industry. Nevertheless, Shimano managed to take another major leap forward with the Di2 M8200 version. Thanks to modern wireless control, perfect performance, 12-speed drivetrain, and the customary excellent build quality, there are no limits to your biking dreams, and you get a loyal companion for your adventures.
The advantages of electronic shifting are obvious. A push of a button and the chain changes from one sprocket to the other in fractions of a second, no matter the situation and completely without delay or effort. The first-class Deore XT Di2 rear derailleur is also synonymous with precision. With the Auto Shift and Free Shift functions, you are always in the right gear and can focus entirely on the trail.
In combination with Hyperglide+ cassettes, you will experience unprecedented shifting performance, and virtually without any noise. The further developed Shadow chain stabilization concept, here called Shadow ES, allows for a very slim design and prevents the chain from slapping uncontrollably on rough trails.
The developers paid special attention to robustness. Due to the slim, wedge-shaped design of the rear derailleur, which offers 23 mm more ground clearance, as well as the smooth and resistant surface, the risk of direct impacts is significantly minimized, causing objects to simply slide off. If it does happen that small rocks or a root are in the way, the cage can deflect inward due to the RD Protection function and automatically returns to its previous position. This happens so quickly that the rider does not notice anything and can continue at full speed. In addition, the enclosed jockey wheels reliably fend off twigs and branches.
In contrast to the standard version, the power supply is not provided by an integrated battery, but directly via the e-bike drive. This virtually eliminates shifting failures. The connection is made via an SD300 port.
In addition to all the positive visual and technical features, you will also be pleased with the low weight. This is achieved through a clever and elegant choice of materials, dominated by high-quality aluminum.
