Shimano SLX RD-M7100 12-speed rear derailleur 1x12
Just as mountain biking and its riders are constantly evolving, Shimano is also working continuously to provide athletes with innovative equipment for an unprecedented riding experience. The SLX M7100 series was developed for those enthusiastic mountain bikers who want to explore new paths, and it adopts technologies from the high-end XTR group—as is typical for Shimano. These innovations include a 12-speed drivetrain, Micro Spline, and Hyperglide+, all of which have already proven themselves in its big sister, the Deore XT.
The Shimano SLX RD-M7100-SGS rear derailleur ensures fast and precise gear changes over a huge gear range. Guide and tension pulleys with 13 teeth and a rubber damper reduce noise and increase riding comfort. In addition, they improve chain retention under all conceivable conditions.
The RD-M7100 rear derailleur for the SLX 1x12-speed drivetrain system is suitable for use with both the large 10-51 and the smaller 10-45 Shimano CS-M7100 cassettes.
Material: aluminum (painted), glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP), steel
