Shimano Deore Di2 RD-M6250 12-speed Rear Derailleur

Wireless control of the rear derailleur, perfect performance, and a 12-speed drivetrain are features that you would usually expect in the professional segment. Despite slightly simpler materials, there are no limits to your biking dreams, and you get a loyal companion for your adventures.
The advantages of electronic shifting are obvious. At the push of a button, the chain shifts from one sprocket to another in a fraction of a second, regardless of the situation and without any delay or effort. The Deore Di2 rear derailleur is also a synonym for precision.
In combination with Hyperglide+ cassettes, you will experience unprecedented shifting performance, virtually without any noise. The further developed Shadow chain stabilization concept, called Shadow ES here, allows for a very slim design and prevents the chain from slapping uncontrollably on rough trails.
The developers paid special attention to robustness. Thanks to the narrow, wedge-shaped design of the rear derailleur, which offers 23 mm more ground clearance, as well as the smooth and resistant surface, the risk of direct impacts is significantly minimized and allows striking objects to literally glide off. If it does happen that small rocks or a root get in the way, the cage can move inward due to the RD Protection function and independently returns to its previous position. This happens so quickly that the rider does not notice it and can continue at full speed. In addition, the enclosed jockey wheels reliably deflect twigs and branches.
A small revolution is also the power supply of the rear derailleur. For the first time, Shimano is using a decentralized battery, which sits well-protected inside and is easily removable for charging.
In addition to all the positive visual and technical features, you will also be pleased by the low weight. This is realized through the clever as well as elegant selection of materials, with high-quality aluminum and steel dominating.
