Dank moderner, kabelloser Steuerung, perfekter Funktionalität, einem 12-fach-Antrieb und der gewohnt herausragenden Verarbeitungsqualität wirst du von Sieg zu Sieg eilen und der Konkurrenz ordentlich einheizen.
Die SM-CRM96-Kettenblätter bilden nicht nur optisch eine Einheit mit den XTR-Kurbeln, sondern befinden sich auch technisch auf höchstem Niveau. Die teils geschlossene Bauweise sorgt für eine bislang unerreichte Steifigkeit an der Stelle der maximalen Kraftübertragung – und damit für kompromisslosen Vortrieb. Dennoch bleibt das Gewicht durch den Einsatz von hochwertigem Aluminium gering, und die Haltbarkeit konnte weiter verbessert werden.
Besonderes Augenmerk wurde auf die Form der einzelnen Zähne gelegt. Mit ihrem speziellen Dynamic Chain Engagement+-Design führen sie die Kette selbst auf ruppigen Trails sicher und ausgesprochen leise – und reduzieren den Verschleiß spürbar.
Die Befestigung der Kettenblätter erfolgt über einen Lockring, der mit dem Shimano-Innenlagerschlüssel montiert wird – so sind Wartungsarbeiten schnell und unkompliziert erledigt.
