Und das auf allerhöchstem Niveau. Dank zeitgemäßer kabelloser Ansteuerung, perfekter Funktionalität, 12-fach Antrieb sowie gewohnt hervorragender Verarbeitungsqualität wirst Du mit ihr von Sieg zu Sieg eilen und der Konkurrenz das Fürchten lehren.
Weiche und präzise Schaltvorgänge waren schon immer ein Markenzeichen von Shimano. Bei den Hyperglide+ Kassetten wurde dies weiter perfektioniert. Die Form der einzelnen Zähne ist so gestaltet, dass sowohl beim Wechseln auf ein größeres Ritzel, als auch beim Herunterschalten kaum Geräusche oder Vibrationen wahrnehmbar sind. Dennoch wird Kette zuverlässiger gehalten und ein mögliches Durchrutschen wird wirkungsvoll unterbunden. Zusätzlich konnte die Zeit für einen Gangwechsel deutlich verkürzt werden.
Bei der Konstruktion der Kassette setzt Shimano auf einen Mix aus verschiedenen Werkstoffen. Während die kleinsten Ritzel mit der geringsten Kettenumschlingung und höchsten Belastung aus Stahl gefertigt sind, bestehen die mittleren aus Titan. Die drei größten Zahnkränze sowie der Spider werden aus hochwertigen Aluminium hergestellt. Dieser belastungsgerechte Materialeinsatz führt zu einer gleichmäßigen Abnutzung der Kassette und verlängert nebenbei auch Lebensdauer der Kette. Außerdem kann damit deutlich Gewicht eingespart werden.
