Den Berg hoch kommt man mit deutlich mehr Spaß - bergab bringen das Mehr an Masse und höhere Geschwindigkeiten neue Herausforderungen für Mensch und Material. Um den speziellen Anforderungen von e-Bikes besser gerecht zu werden, bietet Magura speziell auf diesen Einsatzzweck optimierte Komponenten an.
Mit der MDR-P stellt MAGURA eine Bremsscheibe für performanceorientierte Fahrer und harte Einsätze vor - von Downhill über E-Bikes bis hin zu schweren Lastenrädern. Die zweiteilige Scheibe spart Gewicht gegenüber der MDR-C und ist erstmals auch im Durchmesser bis 220 mm erhältlich. Eine Besonderheit der zweiteiligen Scheibe ist die patentierte Verzahnung des Außen- und Innenrings (Dovetail Interlink Technologie). Die Verzahnung ermöglicht bei Wärmeausdehnung des Außenrings eine zusätzliche Abstützung am Innenring. Im Gegensatz zu Floating Discs wird das Drehmoment so über die gesamte Fläche statt nur über die Nieten übertragen. Das Ergebnis ist eine erhöhte Steifigkeit der Bremsscheibe und eine besonders direkte Wärmeableitung bei Dauerbelastung. Dank der neuen Technologie ist die MDR-P die stärkste Bremsscheibe im Magura Portfolio und bietet dennoch ein geringes Gewicht, sowie eine verringerte Schwingungsbildung, perfekt für den e-Bike und Gravity Einsatz.
