The name “Factory” says it all.
The best technology FOX has to offer is available in the Factory Series models, including our ultra-durable original Kashima Coat coating, which ensures buttery smooth fork behavior.
FOX has updated its family of 34mm travel forks for the 2022 season with a lighter, stiffer construction and smoother internals that are more adjustable than ever before.
The lower legs have a new bridge shape, borrowed from the 36/38/40 high-lift forks. This curve optimizes the stiffness-to-weight ratio by extending further forward and providing sufficient clearance at full compression.
Channels are located on the rear of the lower legs to increase air volume, ensuring a gradual release of pressure and allowing the fork to reach full travel. The channels also serve to direct oil to the upper parts of the lower legs and periodically lubricate the foam rings and inserts when the fork is compressed.

TECHNOLOGIES:
FIT4: The fourth generation of the patented closed FIT cartridge allows the compression damping to be adjusted to three positions (Open, Medium, Closed) on the fork crown to optimally adapt the damping to the riding conditions. On the top-of-the-line forks of the Factory series, the open position can also be fine-tuned (within a range of 22 clicks), allowing every rider to adjust the compression damping to their own preferences.
FLOAT AIR SUSPENSION:
The lightweight FLOAT air spring system automatically balances the positive and negative air chambers, providing better responsiveness and increased traction, regardless of the air pressure setting. The rider can fine-tune the characteristics of the positive air spring with Volume Air inserts.
AIR VOLUME SPACERS:
- The compression progression can be further tuned with the positive air chamber defining inserts, which each rider can use to fine-tune the suspension to their own requirements and riding preferences.
EVOL (EXTRA VOLUME):
- The larger negative air chamber significantly improves the fork's responsiveness. This increases comfort by reducing breakaway torque. Furthermore, the more linear spring curve offers better performance, especially in the mid-stroke range.
KASHIMA COAT:
- The revolutionary inner leg surface treatment technology, which uses electro-deposited molybdenum disulfide to create micropores, is used exclusively in FOX Factory Series forks and shocks. The brown-gold leg surface reduces mechanical friction by up to 40% compared to conventional hard anodizing. It gives the fork a buttery smooth ride and is significantly more resistant to mechanical damage.
