The heart of the matter: the frame
A highlight of the 2019 Madone models is the adjustable Iso-Speed coupling in all variants, meaning that the seat dome is decoupled from the top tube. Like a leaf spring, it can spring backwards and downwards. Trek promises up to 17% more flexibility in the maximum comfort setting. There is also damping for the return movement so that even pedaling can be optimized.
Cockpit streamlined & Geo new
The elegant 2-part handlebar-stem combination is indicative of the high level of innovation of the Trek Madone SLR: This provides more stem variants and other handlebar sizes, the handlebar can be adjusted by around +/-5 degrees. The conventional A-head variant serves as the stem. The new H1.5 geometry comes with a seat tube that is around 2 cm shorter for all frame heights. A sportier seating position thanks to a little more length reflects the character of the Madone SLR! The Trek Madone SL 2019 comes with the well-known H2 geometry.
The Trek Madone 2019 is available in three different SLR-level equipment variants as well as in a version for men and women with the cheaper SL frame, which has a different carbon fiber quality.
Female-friendly: The women's models come with women-specific contact points (saddle, handlebar width and stem length).
