DUB™
Forward-thinking yet fully backward compatible, DUB™ bottom bracket/crankset technology is a workhorse that never gives up. Designed for the most demanding professional riders and for anyone who wants a hassle-free experience after installation, DUB™ is compatible with all common bottom bracket standards. The system features a better seal than ever before and still fits any frame. At the same time, it paves the way for a new type of crank axle, resulting in the world's lightest crankset to date. It's a new approach that incorporates the old. About time, too.
After extensive research, SRAM is standardizing the diameter of bike crank axles and bottom brackets to 28.99mm starting in 2018. The new DUB (Durable Unifying Bottom Bracket) bearing technology is now setting new standards.
