UPGRADES & MATCHING ACCESSORIES
Shimano DEORE XT SL-M8130 11-speed Shifter (Linkglide)
E-bikes place very specific demands on drivetrain and shifting components. For the higher torques involved and for everyday riders who stay in the same gear for long periods of time, wear resistance and smooth operation after long-term use are of crucial importance. Shimano has taken these requirements into account in the development of the Linkglide components. On both e-bikes and everyday bikes, the specially reinforced and optimized components allow for smooth shifting for years to come, ensuring a stress-free riding experience.
The M8130 shifter provides smooth and responsive shifting. The ergonomics of the tried-and-tested Rapidfire Plus design have been appreciated by mountain bikers for many generations. Adapted for the higher forces on an e-bike, up to 2 gears can be shifted down with a single stroke. Thanks to 2-Way Release, you can shift into a higher gear using either your thumb or index finger.
