The Moterra is an e-mountain bike with limitless possibilities. The shackles are off – now you can ride the unrideable, again and again. The Moterra is all-mountain capable and equipped with 160mm of travel to master any trail. With large, grippy tires, a suitably wide handlebar, short stems, powerful brakes, a dropper seatpost, and a bottle cage in the front triangle, the Moterra is ready for what really matters.
Using size-specific center-of-gravity data, the "Proportional Response" suspension system is tailored to each size, ensuring every rider experiences optimized suspension performance when braking, climbing, and descending. Our "Ai Offset" drivetrain creates more clearance in the rear triangle for the tire while keeping the chainstays short to ensure high agility. A stiffer, more stable rear wheel is the icing on the cake.
A carbon frame keeps weight to a minimum. However, because our engineers prioritized durability over counting grams, confidence is built right in (as is a lifetime warranty). To protect the motor and battery from damage, the Moterra features a sealed battery cover and a robust, trials-style skid plate.
Cannondale’s proprietary motor mount positions the Bosch drive unit low and far forward in the frame, keeping the center of gravity low and the chainstays short – for exceptionally agile handling.
LockR pivots create a thru-axle pivot system that provides a rock-solid connection between both sides of the swingarm for immediate response. No twisting, no flexing, and no special tools required.
