Schwalbe Aerothan Tube 54 / 62-622 SV 40 mm
The Schwalbe Aerothan Tube MTB is as puncture-resistant against snakebites as it is against sidewall damage – thanks to the extreme robustness of the material. In cross-country and marathon use, the surprisingly low weight and low rolling resistance show their true advantages. Even on demanding trails, this tube will never let you down: because the Aerothan Tube MTB remains extremely stable even at low air pressures, you always have reliable control over your bike.
Aerothan Tubes are made 100% (including valve) from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and are therefore completely recyclable.
The Schwalbe Aerothan Tube SV 19E is for bicycle tires in the size 29 inches (ETRTO 54/62-622).

- 40% Lighter: Aerothan tubes are around 40% lighter than a comparable Schwalbe Extralight butyl tube.
- Extremely low rolling resistance: Aerothan tubes feature extremely low rolling resistance at a tubeless level.
- Increased puncture protection: Aerothan tubes offer increased puncture protection. The high puncture resistance prevents sudden air loss.
- Valve type
- SV – Sclaverand valve (also Presta, French or racing bike valve): is narrower than the other valves (6 instead of 8 mm); requires a smaller rim hole and is therefore particularly suitable for narrow road bike rims; is approx. 4–5 g lighter than the car and Dunlop valve
- Sustainability
- Aerothan is 100% recyclable: Aerothan tubes are made 100% (including valve) from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and are therefore completely recyclable. Work is currently underway on returning used tubes and processing them into new tubes.
