Big Betty is back! Equipped with everything that modern tire technology has to offer. A downhill and enduro all-rounder for dry to wet surfaces. Long, supported braking edges ensure maximum braking traction. The extremely stable shoulder blocks in combination with the open and aggressive profile design generate outstanding grip in fast cornering and excellent self-cleaning.
Big Betty works perfectly on the rear wheel in combination with our beloved Magic Mary.
ADDIX SOFT, orange identifier
Is a compound that bridges many areas. It belongs in the enduro and downhill world as well as in demanding all-mountain and trail riding. Various combination options ensure more speed: soft at the front, speed grip at the back or more damping: ultra soft at the front, soft at the back. ADDIX soft is also ideal for E-MTBs. It fully exploits its strengths of "lots of damping and good grip" - and thanks to its optimized cold properties, it can be used all year round!
NOTE: Tires with a soft rubber compound offer more grip and roll more smoothly. However, soft tires wear out faster and are more susceptible to wear!
Super Gravity
Super Gravity is a patented carcass construction. The sidewall, consisting of 4 layers, stabilizes the tire, while the tread, consisting of 2 layers, is grippy and flexible. SnakeSkin also protects against side cuts.
TLE - Tubeless Easy
A new monofilament side fabric offers three advantages over the previous standard:
Even better cut resistance, increased puncture resistance and, above all, it enables extremely easy tubeless conversion. The use of sealing fluid is required, but otherwise installation is just as easy as with real tubeless tires. Long conversion processes with intensive shaking and frequent re-pumping are no longer necessary with Tubeless Easy.
SnakeSkin
The SnakeSkin side fabric provides additional cut-resistant side walls and thus increases puncture resistance.
