REVERSE Youngstar Pedal for Children
With this pedal, we are addressing a topic that has become increasingly important to us - the ergonomics of children's bicycles!
In our opinion, this topic receives far too little attention from the bicycle industry! Be it the Q-factor of children's bikes, i.e., the distance between the feet, or the pedal platform, which is far too large for children's feet!
These two factors were the focus during the development of the Youngstar pedal! The shortened pedal axle allows for a significantly smaller Q-factor, which minimizes the "X-shape" of the legs. This makes pedaling considerably easier for little ones and leads to a much "rounder" pedal stroke!
Due to the ergonomic ratio of the contact surface to children's shoes, "flipping" of the pedals is prevented. Imagine you had to stand on a pedal the size of a DIN A4 sheet of paper. An inevitable tipping forward or backward would be the result, as you could never stand securely and centered on such a pedal!
As is standard for us, these products are also tested by us! In this case, by our employees' children and in our family circles. Weighing only 229g, this pair of aluminum pedals with a CrMo axle is a real asset for every child!

Suitable for children up to shoe size 34 (US size 3).
Safety instruction:
Unless otherwise specified by the crank manufacturer, please ensure that the pedals are tightened to a minimum of 37 and a maximum of 42 Nm.
