ZIPP tires G40 XPLR
The G40 XPLR from Zipp is a specially developed tubeless gravel tire for reliable control on unpaved roads. This tire provides grip during aggressive riding and provides the control and durability required on gravel, dirt, rocks, mud or whatever.
The G40 XPLR is a 40mm tire designed for control, which translates into higher overall speed when gravel riding. We started with a chevron center tread for speed, transitioning into an inverted soccer cleat design, then added XC-like knobs on the edges to dig in when needed. Durability was crucial.
The tire's casing and bead-to-bead puncture protection strip navigate the fine line between flexibility and rigidity, ensuring grip and performance are maintained while creating an incredibly durable gravel tire. The G40 XPLR's 40mm width has been carefully selected to make the tread as effective as possible while meeting rider requests for wider tires for gravel events and off-pavement riding. It's exactly what you need to ride hard all day long. With Zipp's widest and most versatile rim, the 303, performance is exceptional.
