And that's exactly what the Aethos stands for. It's certainly designed for performance and is the lightest frame on the market, but it doesn't compromise on style. The aethos: Billions of calculations with one goal - the perfect driving experience. The top model with the lightest frame in the world is equipped with the SRAM 12-speed RED eTAP AXS group and the ultra-light Roval Alpinist wheels. This combination is the perfect balance of performance and a feather-light ride.
- The Aethos frame creates the perfect combination of ultimate ride, low weight and unparalleled style - from acceleration on steep climbs and technical descents to all-day comfort on even the longest coffee rides - the Aethos always hits the mark. We used supercomputer simulations to subtly alter round tube shapes. As a result, their shapes became more conical in key areas to achieve huge gains in rigidity and balance with a minimum of material. No unnecessary material, just more stability and integrity.
- A featherweight frame is useless without confidence-inspiring handling characteristics. That's why we engineered the Aethos to provide the perfect balance of stiffness and exceptional ride quality. Through extensive testing, we were able to gain groundbreaking insights into how the forces act on bicycle frames.
