Maximum speed has always been the goal of the Demo and the Demo Race is no different. The flexible wheel size in the new frame allows you to fully exploit all the advantages of a 29" front wheel and a 27.5" rear wheel. The bike was tested by our athletes for a long time - looking for the perfect balance between traction and handling. It was only last year that the UCI gave the bike the green light. Not that the Demo Race ever stopped them from winning both the DH World Championship and the overall World Cup title in their very first season.
- The Demo Race M5 aluminum frame is optimized to take advantage of the traction benefits of a 29" front wheel and the handling benefits of a 27.5" rear wheel, while also offering the ability to adjust the rear wheel size to suit different terrain and riding conditions. This is done with adjustable dropouts that ensure that the chainstay length and bottom bracket height match the wheel size.
- The Ohlins TTX 22 M steel spring shock is designed to tackle the most challenging downhill trails! It offers external low speed compression and rebound damping, while the trunnion mount provides additional bearing overlap for longer life.
- The Ohlins DH38 M.1 suspension fork offers excellent tracking over bumps and the ability to absorb landings from even the most violent impacts. The 200 millimeters of travel allow you to run smoother, faster and more confidently than ever before.
