Full control, a powerful chassis and individual geometry are the trademarks of the Stumpjumper EVO Expert. The equipment combines quality and durability. The Stumpjumper EVO Expert is the perfect trail partner, no matter where your home trails are or how technical they are. In keeping with its DNA, our Stumpy EVO has a mullet setup with a 29 inch front wheel and 27.5 inch rear wheel. The advantages of a larger wheel at the front with more grip and better rollover behavior and a smaller, more maneuverable wheel at the rear fit perfectly with a playful riding style. The Stumpjumper EVO is at home in the bike park and spins completely freely when you let off the brakes on the trail. The longest travel is useless without the correct tuning of the damper and the correct kinematics. That's why the design of the new Stumpjumper EVO prioritizes the performance of the kinematics. Using insights from Enduro suspension design and more than 1,000 hours of development work on the trail and in the suspension lab, we have significantly improved uphill pedaling efficiency while creating a powerful, efficient and lively bike that every rider craves. We have also increased the anti-squat value so that the chassis resists rocking better. Angular obstacles are easily swallowed, meaning less speed is lost. With this bike you can shred in any style. The S-Sizing Stumpjumper EVO geometry is our most progressive geo yet. Long, low, flat, a fork with little offset, a steeper seat tube angle - these are the requirements for modern mountain biking. However, different riders have different requirements for their bike, which is why the geometry of the Stumpjumper EVO can be individually adapted to your needs with six different settings. For example, the bottom bracket height can be raised or lowered by 10 mm and the head tube angle can be changed by up to two degrees. All of this can be set independently. Rider-First Engineered™ ensures that the bike's characteristics remain nearly the same across all frame sizes. Incredible handling and flawless performance are independent of frame or body size. No matter whether you're an S1 rider who likes to jump over everything, or a downhill addict on an S6 - you both share the same riding experience: cornering like on rails and balanced stiffness between the front and rear wheels with a shockingly low weight.
When we introduced the SWAT™ Box on the Stumpjumper in 2016, we freed up the storage space in your frame for all the essentials you need when you're on the trail saying, "Oh sh*t!" A pump, spare tube and mini-tool There is plenty of room for them and there is no need for straps on the frame.
