The drive is provided by a third-generation Bosch Performance motor - so the kids always have enough power left to triumphantly drive away from their parents, even on longer family tours. The smooth, wide-ranging Deore 10-speed gears from Shimano ensure the perfect translation. And braking is safe with the powerful hydraulic Magura MT Thirty disc brakes. If the journey takes you over bumpy trails, the Suntour air suspension fork and the grippy, comfortable 2.25 inch tires are there. With this bike your next two-wheel adventure will be unforgettable!
The Reaction Hybrid Rookie uses the same technologies and frame construction techniques as its adult counterpart. For example, a gravity cast down tube combined with a 1.5 inch head tube serves as a strong and stiff backbone. And that's what the sometimes somewhat over-motivated riding style of young mountain bikers needs! Thanks to the internally routed cables, switching processes remain permanently smooth and maintenance requirements are reduced to a minimum. And for youngsters who want a little more control downhill on more difficult trails, a retractable seat post can be retrofitted without much effort.
