The Megatower is the fusion of big wheels with our strongest suspension concept. It is a modern weapon with which both the toughest race tracks and your home trails can be conquered with ease.
The Megatower has its roots in the Hightower and now features the chassis derived from the V10. This makes it the most capable and confidence-inspiring enduro bike in our lineup. The lower bellcrank-hinged shock mount is compatible with air and steel spring shocks, offers a progressive spring curve with unmatched traction and progression, and is ideal for taming the longest descents and roughest hits.
For the Megatower to stride confidently around the world, there's a tremendous amount of clever adjustability in its bones. A tidy and concealed flip chip in the lower bellcrank adjusts the bottom bracket height and changes the progression of the suspension. A second flip chip in the dropout, allows for 10mm of longitudinal adjustment of the chainstay to optimally adjust the rider's weight distribution - optimized for either playfulness or tracking. The flip chips are a robust mechanism that allows for various geometry adjustments without compromising reliability and durability. No spun technology or vulnerable special dampers here.
But the Megatower can't just be aggressive and rough, it's also smart and savvy. It has a steep, 76-degree seat angle for fast climbs to steep descents, where the wide cockpit and 65-degree steering angle then come into their own. The frame is well protected with a shock guard, shuttle guard, down tube guard and ribbed chainstay guard.
If you are between 2 frame heights, choosing the right height depends on the intended use of the mountain bike. Are you sporty? Then choose the smaller frame size. Would you like to sit more upright and more comfortably? Then choose the larger frame size.
