At CUBE, we don't mess around when it comes to designing our products, which is why the Reaction 240 SL frame is also made from the same heat-treated 6061 aluminum tube sets as our performance adult models. And we've adapted their shape for the optimal stiffness-to-weight ratio using the same mechanical molding process. Another highlight is the replaceable derailleur hanger, which means you don't have to have the whole frame repaired at great expense after a small crash. And who wants even more grip, comfort and safety, the chassis can also be equipped with wider tires.

With the Reaction 240 SL, we are deliberately taking a minimalist approach - in favor of performance. This approach is evident in the thinner handlebars with thinner grips on the one hand, and the lightweight, stiff carbon fork on the other; the result is a lightweight, fast, agile and safe set-up for young mountain bike racers. In addition, we have installed a Microshift gearshift, which switches precisely and easily between the 10 gears. Lightweight, powerful V-brakes ensure reliable braking maneuvers and thus full control of the bike and its speed.
