The Acid 240's frame is made from the same heat-treated 6061 aluminum tubing as our adult mountain bikes, so it's just as strong and sturdy. However, we have adjusted its proportions and weight to meet the needs of children. In addition, mudguards can be mounted - and a bottle cage, so that the kids are always sufficiently supplied with liquid on the road. Thanks to the good handling, designed for high riding fun, the youngsters fill up with lots of self-confidence. And because accidents can't always be avoided, we've opted for an easily replaceable derailleur hanger, which saves costly repairs after a fall or impact.

The Acid 240 is the bike of choice for aspiring young riders who want to keep up with their friends and parents at all costs. The Suntour suspension fork ensures pleasant riding comfort and top directional stability, which sovereignly absorbs all bumps. For acceleration, the Shimano 7-speed gears offer the best conditions - so that any climb, no matter how steep, can be mastered effortlessly. For added safety and control, we have also installed powerful V-brakes - with brake levers that have been precisely adapted to children's hands and a power modulator on the front wheel. And because tomorrow's Mountanbike heroes are bound to take a tumble or two, the bike has been fitted with a replaceable derailleur hanger to avoid costly repairs. So then: get on and go!
